CPR First Aid Training

WANT TO BE A HERO? LEARN CPR & FIRST AID
Every year, there are 350,000 people who suffer a cardiac arrest outside a hospital.
- Homes/residences (70%)
- Public places (18.8%)
- Nursing homes (11.2%)
Unfortunately, less than half of these people will receive any care (bystander CPR) prior to the arrival of professional help.
When a person’s heart goes into ventricular fibrillation (cardiac arrest) their chance of survival decreases by approximately 10% for each minute that passes. Bystander CPR helps to slow this down and extend the patient’s opportunity for survival.
There are multiple places that you can go to obtain CPR and first-aid training. Some training can even be completed online.
Perrysburg Township offers CPR and First Aid training to Township residents and businesses. If you would like to learn how to save a life, please call our Training Bureau at 419-887-2258 for training opportunities and pricing.
